[CSS expert] Make my site look the same in IE!

    Hello,

As some of you may have read elsewhere I recently discovered that my site (http://www.dailybuzzer.com) shows much differently in IE than it is in FF.

    in IE:

    1. Padding is different
    2. The header looks ugly with the blue partial border.
    3. Content area is less wide.
    4. Borders in images are different.
    5. images aren't aligned correctly.
    6. More..

What I'm looking for is someone who will make IE load my site just as FF, I don't even want a single difference.

Please PM me your quotes, not per hour - but for the whole project. If you have experience with doing so please specify.

Are you required to have the ads on your site? If you are then that is what is causing you problems. And what version of IE do you need it to look the same in?

LOL obviously if he's asking about cross browser compatibility then he obviously needs support for 6 and 7

@AllenH No I don't mean slowness. Its causing your issues because anything above the doctype throws IE into quirks mode causing CSS to display differently than it should.

@I <3 Lamp Not necessarily, I have clients who don't care about IE6 which is why I asked.

That adify code? I don't think its the only reason, and its not above the DOCOTYPE, dockotype isn't even recognized on my site. I can get rid of the ad code at the top before the header any way.

Thats what I was asking. As I said anything above the doctype causes IE to go into quirks mode.

Update: Image and content width issue solved!!

Thanks to _Aerospace_Eng_ that suggested to place the docotype above all elements, now images are aligning nicely, with the same border, and I assume that the content width areas are simillar to FF.

So again, thanks very much to _Aerospace_Eng_, which I have also PMed to do it paid and I can say sounds (and is obviously) very professional. A big thanks also goes out to jcdevelopment who also suggested methods and made me aware of many other errors in the page.
