    Smile ToleroDevelopment.com Check-a-roo Please

    Hey guys,

I just made this one this week... It features the first live application of the soon-to-be-released "RSS Newsmaker" plug-in for my GreenBeast CMS.

The other special thing on this site is the projects archive system. Obviously you can't really look under the hood and see the PHP, but it's a slick system. I tell ya' it made my brain smoke a few times.

It's supposed to be a pro-looking business-like site. It will get a ton of traffic I'm told. Hope so... they're going to let me keep my link in the footer.

    Tolero Development (Portfolio Copy)

    Thanks.

Personally, I think it might be worth looking into making that background floated, so it's in the same place (ie. centered in the middle of the page) whenever the user scrolls.

Other than that, it looks great!

    Thank you Ravana,

The main background (fixed right now) or are you referring to the content background (left half of content, repeated on the y-axis, right now)?

    Thank you.

the shadow looks too dark and sharp, try to make it more transparent. Plus make it half shorter. Perhaps a gaussian blur for the shadow.

Thanks _com... what shadow do you mean? The drop shadow on the text in the banner or somewhere else?

shadow on the 4 borders of the wrapper div also the bottom shadow text positioned at the top half too though the top of text blends well with the background.

shadow 'beast' banner -> superb ok

Sorry to be dumb, _com, but I still have no idea to what you are referring to As far as I can tell/know/remember, the only dropshadows used on the site are on the logo and text on the banner.

Sorry, about that... I'm just being dumb perhaps.

It is still your site but another I gather. So still you got some advice.

It looks ok the other one except the dotted background does not work with your layout, try other patterns or a gradient, full color ??

The shadows on the curved shapes are to prominent, make them smaller or leave them, the transparent like 'big curves' are too transparent, they sink into the white. make them half transparent. Or put a big version in the center of the background

    eg body {background:url(i/xxxlarge_curves_bg.gif} center center no-repeat;}

You are exploring is not needed to say, the links are self explanatory.
