    thenewshound.co.uk designs

I've just completed a couple of designs but before I send them to the client I thought I'd ask you guys your opinions. They're just sort of sketches of ideas - so no fine tooth comb on exact margin/padding widths and stuff

Pretty nice, although I think they could do with a bit more colour in them? Especially the yellow and blue scheme.

I think the header is a tacky (sorry!) - Font needs to be changed on it, and I don't like the way the dog is just mirrored.

I like the content boxes though, and the menu on the yellow and blue scheme.

Will it be a fluid site?

http://www.thenewshound.co.uk is the original site. The dog is like the logo or corporate ID type thing...

i just don't like the design of them both just seems to much like a cheap template that someone has hacked. I think it might be the header that gives me this thought.

they seem very plan as well keeping things simple is 90% good but going to simple can be bad.

am just telling you what i think when i look at the design no offance ok

and i hope there not getting ripped off
