    Help me improve these 2 sites

    Hi, I've been talking to a guy about his web designs etc, and i can't seem to get through to him that they arent great and how to improve them. I heard bout this forum from another friend and i thought maybe u guys could give some constructive help to these websites....

    It depends on what you want your site to look like. I think they look ok, but on your personal site, I personally like the left frame to have noresize and noscroll and go from the bottom to the top. My only real comment that I have is on you http://camelotyachtcharter.co.uk/ site. I think that the text color of the rollover links on your menu should turn to red instead of very light blue, because it was a little hard to see.

    thanks for your suggestions - they aren't my sites thank goodness! Can no-one see that they are just so horribly horribly horrribly bad? - they look like they have been made in frontpage (which they have). Please.... someone.... anyone.... let me know im not alone in my thinking!

    You're not alone in your thinking, those sites could use a lot of work, especially the personal one. The first thing that he needs to do is get rid of those frames and the marquee. Tell him to get rid of all of the javascript and the tables and use some layers and css. I'm pretty sure that others can intelligently comment on these sites, so I'll let them take a shot.

    I hate to say it but in mozilla firefox im not abel to see either of the sites they just appear as white screens

    hmmmmmm - well - i run moz firefox (0.91 on one pc, and 0.8 on the other) and I can see them both so i dont know whats going on there!
