    Which design?

Alrighty, we at mudsplat studios are trying to come up with a suitable design for our launch on May 1. We are basically a hung jury on which design will be put up so we would like a few people to help us out, simply pick the one you like best .

    Exclamation

OK, here are the two designs that we've narrowed it down to. I've uploaded them for you guys to compare:

A: Concept 07 (beige and maroon)
B: Concept 10 (black and green)

I'm tired of designing new concepts, so, whatever the results of this is what we go with

Edit: By the way, please post saying which one you voted for, and why - and the things you like/dislike etc. The poll will be open for a couple of days.

option B looks exactly how I'd expect a multimedia design studio website to look - so option A gets my vote!

Even more so if "thinking differently" is a selling point...

    Post Both cool

Okay so they are both cool, but B gets my vote because it looks cleaner, sharper, and generally more design company like. A looks more like it belongs to a game support site, but they are both cool. Which will win?

Although both designs are brilliant, the beige/maroon design gets my vote

And why? because I like... I like alot.

edit: let me expand. It looks strikingly more different and catchy. I can rememebr what it looks like, whereas I've nearly forgotten the black/green one already... and I voted only hours ago. The design is much more easy on the eyes and I like it If it doesn't get the vote I'll be amazed.

maybe if you adjusted the colour scheme for design A to give a cooler (as in heat), more technological feel? blues? blue-green? grey?

B... why?? i dunno, just seems a lot more interactive and homely and the logo goes better with the name. Besides that, page is about as cool as me...

I chose B. Although I love A, and I really really like B, I voted for B because it simply looks more professsional for a business website

    A is the Pwntage

Much to Krycek's chagrin I must vote for A.

Why? Because it's original, clean and attractive. It has a very professional air about it while maintaining a futuristic look.

B is fine as well, but A runs it in to the ground. The logo in B reminds me of Nickelodeon.

hey Jim lad... I'm not THAT fussed... glad people like both, and that my work isn't considered rubbish I'm glad that it's so hard to choose between the two; that means that they must both be quite good, and to have two good designs to choose between is better than not having any good designs at all

And now, having used up a dangerous number of my daily words of wisdom (which I horde jealously in case of a rainy day) I will await further comments

Jim Binford... often known to his friends as 'One-Eyed Jim'. Why? Coz there's only one 'i' in 'Jim', obviously...

I prefer A. It's a bit warmer in colourscheme and design, a bit more welcoming in tone, esepcially with the touch of that picture. If you gave me a text to read in those designs, I'd prefer the A one to B, because B is slightly more sterile and would not be as comfortable for easy reading.

A is very nice. However, the techy-looking "lines" juxtaposed with the classic color scheme and nature photography don't seem right here. I think it could be pulled off, but in this iteration, it feels forced.

B is very clean, and multimedia-company worthy. But, it's also a bit empty. It could use some fleshing out.
