    How to make a position index?

    hi, when using some photoalbum or forum software. I can see that location index. How can I do that ?

    That's called "breadcrumbs".

    There are several methods to use, depending on how your pages
    are being generated. Here's the Google search for PHP Breadcrumbs:

    I do a little bit understanding what this is and how this is created.
    But may I asked what & why this is named. I got a text written as:


    Where does the term "breadcrumb" come from?

    If you remember the story of Hansel and Grettel, a trail of breadcrumbs was used by the characters so they could find their way home. This navigation style is similar -- not only do you know where you are in your Web page, you also know how to retrace your steps.
