    Apache With PHP

    Lets Say That..

I've Installed Apache Configured The Config File And Have Got My Own Website Running.
But When I Tried To Install PHP It Wants Me To Install It Manually. That Means
12 Hours Worth Of Work To Configure A Heap Of Files!
Anyone Have A Setup Program That You Run That Sets Up PHP With The Existing Apache. Without It Changing Some Of Your Own Changes To The Config File?

Like I Run PHP.exe It Installs The Program PHP And Configures Itself With Apache.
So When I Make A Index.php on my Apache It Will Run Properly.

    Anyone Have It?

It's not that difficult to do it by hand. Have a go at this tutorial.
I'm not sure if this was any help, but I hope it didn't make you stupider.

Experience is something you get just after you really need it.

I Only Want A File That I Download Run. And Install PHP To The Apache Directory... Not Like A Combined Package. Just A File That Configures Apache With The PHP

Well it all comes down to inserting 2 or 3 lines into httpd.conf... you need an installer for that?

I will assume you are referring to the lastest PHP and Apahce versions. I am running PHP and Apache on my (windows) laptop. I ran the installer and simply added these three lines at the end of my httpd.conf file.
    Code:
    ScriptAlias /php/ "d:/server/php/"
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
The paths used will be relative to your system. The path I installed PHP to is: d:/server/php. d: is the drive letter of my harddrive.
FYI-The installer does not install the extensions folder. So if you plan to use the GD library, zip functions, curl functions, or any other extension you must extract the extensions folder out of the php.zip and place it in the same folder as your php.exe file.

If you are using windows, set a system restore point.
    Use the installer.
    Follow these tips.
    Test your .php scripts.
    If satisfied, you're finished.
If not, do a system restore.

Most of my questions/posts are fairly straightforward and simple. I post long verbose messages in an attempt to be thorough.
