    uploading a php file to a web host server?

    I am learning php and I got an account with http://www.weezyhost.com. They support PHP even for the free account.
    In the email they sent regarding the account information, they asked me to put all the html files in the 'public_html' folder. So I thought it should be same for php too. I put some .php files and also a .html file in the 'public_html' folder and when I tried to view the .php file, nothing comes up. But the htlml comes ok in the browser.
    I used ftp to put the files in their server. Does .php files have some other way to put in the server?

    This is the html which is fine:

    but the php, just a blank page
    the page works fine in my machine when I look at it locally - from C drive.

    Have you tried a file with phpinfo?
    PHP Code:
    <?php phpinfo(); ?>
    Also, ask your host. You may have to ask them to enable PHP for you.
