    reg use of xml rpc

    Hi,
I am trying to use xmlrpc in php. I have included xmlrpc.inc and xmlrpcs.inc but i am getting errors:

Parse error: parse error in /var/www/html/P/xmlrpc.inc on line 572

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: xmlrpc_client in /var/www/html/P/rpcclientdemo.php on line 12

If I include a xmlrpc.php file instead of xmlrpc.inc ,its entire code is displayed in the browser along with the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: xmlrpc_client in /var/www/html/P/rpcclientdemo.php on line 12

CAn anyone please help me out??
    Thank you,
    raj

Can you post some code please?
Methinks the class isn't existing, however, I've never used this with php < 5.0. So I'm wondering if your desired method is available in your php version. Under the assumption as well that its predefined and not user defined.

    http://drupaldocs.org/api/4.4/file/i...rpc.inc/source

    Please help me
    Thanks,

Whew, thats a whole lot of non-documented functions, lol.

Anywho, I'm taking a stab at it here, though the class xmlrpc_client is existant and can be used, its not being declared anywhere that I can see. Now, it *could* very well be in there, I took a browse through it and sent a quick search for all instances of 'xmlrpc_client' and 'new' and didn't pull up anything.
Oh, and I made an error as well, I was thinking DOM, so I've never used this before, lol. But yeah, my guess is the problem is that class xmlrpc_client isn't... whats the word I'm looking for... bound I suppose to any resource you can use.
Sorry I cannot be of any more help to you with this one. All I can suggest is conctating the developer, unfortunatly its a little too uncommented for me to debug.
