    getting phpbb links to open at specific anchorpoint

    I'm in the process of installing my first phpbb forum. Being incapable of leaving my sticky fingers out of things, along with a few other changes, I moved the header to above the actual forum. Above the forum itself is <a name="phpforum" id="phpforum"></a>. What I was hoping to do was to have any links within the forum to go to that particular point on the page rather than the top of the page. (I hope this is making sense.)

    In the viewforum.php I added:

    Code:
    'U_VIEW_FORUM' => append_sid("viewforum.$phpEx?" . POST_FORUM_URL . "=$forum_id" . "#phpforum"),
    But this is NOT doing anything at all. My guess is that I have to change something somewhere else as well. Any ideas?

    I am not comfortable with putting an actual link to the forum because it isn't ready at all yet. (edit: removing link now that question is answered)

    Many thanks for any help on this.

    Never mind... I finally found the answer in phpbb.com support forum. Thanks anyway!
