    Can't figure out this parse error

    This is the last few lines of my file.... it is reporting the parse error on the last line..

    PHP Code:
    echo "</tr>\n\n";
    echo
    "</table>";

    }

    ?>

    </body>
    </html>

    It's the space before the first echo there.

    umm... no its not...

    Check the line before that and make sure you have a semicolon on the end of it, If you do, post up the error message you are getting and some more of your code so we can have a better look.

    I've had problems like that which were fixed like that, but, any how, post your whole code and the error message as missing-score said.

    are you sure? i doubt it very much, becuase if thats the case then surely newlines and tabs would cause just as much of a problem... You probably changed something else to fix the problem.

    That space is most definitely not the problem. Parsers do not care about spaces like that.

    More than likely the problem is somewhere else. Parsers often indicate the location of an error and not actually where the typo in the code was made.

    99/100 a parse eror reported on the last line of a file means a missing '}' in an if/else while() etc , e.g. PHP is still looking for the closing brace when it finds the EOF
    resistance is...

    MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
