    Unhappy zipping files with php

First do any body know about a zipping program that will do it's jop immidiatly without asking the user any question?

Second I want a script that will make me able to zip all the files in a directory by just clicking one button (for example in my php page I have a button called unzip)when clicking on it all the zipped files in a specific directory will bezipped each zipped file into folder).

php cannot (IIRC) create zip files, only unzip. You may however be able to find an old zip compression program and do it that way..

also look at exec() , most unix systems will have zip/gzip installed and you can use exec() to pass the command line required.

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
