    Display image for x seconds

I have several pictures I'm trying to display, i would like each picture displayed for 3 seconds, is there a way to do this easily. Perhaps with a if statement or something that pauses code execution after each image for 3.5 seconds?

PHP cannot control a users browser at all. That would be a massive security flaw if it could..
