    Embed PHPBB3 Into Existing Website

    So i just installed PHPBB3 onto my localhost website. However, i want it to matc the rest of my website with the overallHeader and overallFooter i have. Is there a way to include these in the phpbb forum theme? i also want to restrict the width to the width restriction ive given to the rest of my website, where would i also do this?

    Yeah it's possible to do but it is time consuming. The CSS files are the ones you'd change to alter the layout though.

    There are quite a few CSS files you'd need to edit and at the moment I don't remember them as it was a while ago I did it. Google is your friend when it comes to that though. In fact I think I found various tutorials on how to do it.

    You won't need to reinstall the whole of PHPBB but you will need to update the theme you are using for it.

    It might be best for you to pay someone else to do it for you if you are in a hurry.

    I'm not in that much of a hurry, id like to know how im doing it my self.

    and yes ive followed a few tutorials but they dont seem to be working for me.

    Im using this phpbb

    http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/Artodia%3A+Black

    based of the standard prosilver.

    I'm looking to customize it in 3 ways.

    1. Remove existing heading and footer.
    2. Add my own header and footer. To match the rest of the website.
    3. Limit the width to be the same as the rest of my website, specifically 1024px. Centered.

    If anyone can provide me with a solution to doing the above 3, it would be great, for the phpbb i'm referring to.

    Your better off starting with prosilver and working from there.

    Can you provide a link to your site to see what you're going for?

    This is built from prosilver anyway. I just want to be able to change it to achieve the above 3 points i mentioned.

    The header and footer need to be changed in overall_header.html and overall_footer.html

    And the CSS file is common.css

    Like this -

    Code:
    body {
    	/* Text-Sizing with ems: http://www.clagnut.com/blog/348/ */
    	font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    	color: #828282;
    	background-color: #FFFFFF;
    	/*font-size: 62.5%; This sets the default font size to be equivalent to 10px */
    	font-size: 10px;
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 12px 0;
            width: 1024px;
    }
