    Question Apache or microsoft server for php?

    I would like to try to learn php, but it is complicated because people tell me that i need a server to run the script. But I dont know which one will work the best for XP, and also i dont know how to get this because the sites abrivate everything, and i'm lost in what they are trying to tell me..

    Typically people use Apache to go with PHP/MySQL as most hosting that offers that combo is usually using Apache as well.
