Help with paypal shopping cart modification

I have a paypal shopping cart and currently I sell books in paperback so I have only one option for each page and I should mention that I have about 10,000 different html pages for each book and I would like to offer each book in hardback format and I should also mention that the price already listed in each page and that is also in the shopping cart price tag. My question will be: is it possible to add a drop down option box to have the customer choose between paperback and hardback and if the customer chooses hardback I would like to have the price increase by $12.00.

Do i need a javascript for this to happen or could it be done within the paypal form using php.

    Thank you.

You can do it just with PHP, but the page will have to reload. That's not really a big deal, and is the easiest way to do it.

If you don't want the page to reload, you need to learn Ajax.
