Does $_POST read all form objects with a name such as
    Code:
    <td name="cellname">data</td>
or only those with user input as in form entry fields?
    Code:
    <td><input type="checkbox" name="check"></td>

it only reads from named form control elements (input, button, select, textarea) that are inside the submitting form.

PS. table cells are not allowed to have names.

If you want to transmit data from a form table then use hidden form elements instead.
I can't really think of anything to write here now...
