    types of submit switches

    not really needing any help this is more of a sharing post, i thought it would be fun for us to share the types of lame coding used as submit switches that we have run across in our day..

    for example i just ran across this while updating one of the GPL softwares i use.

    they actualy used UPPERCASE C and lowercase c in the word create to switch between form submitted and not submitted LMAO

    such as task == Create vrs task == create

    I about fell out of my chair.. just curious what comical things you all have run accross for switchs.. i have seen people use some numbers before..

    they must not know about isset submit lol

    isset dosnt always work for me. Sometime the varible can be decalred but not contain a value, but therefore isset would return true.

    An example would be

    PHP Code:
    if( (!isset($value)) || ($value == "") )
    I use that more as a double check. I agree there are better ways of doing what they have done.
