Getting Access to Page's Source Code

Is there a way to use PHP to get access to a page's source code and save it to a variable? If there is not a way to do it for a page that is not on your domain, is there a way to do it for a page that is on your domain?

    Thanks!

HTML source or server side source (PHP code, etc)?

    HTML, yes. Server side, no.
