    Question Multilingual website

    Hi Dears,

I want to develop a website with multiple language support for its contents. It is a property website... my properties are adding through an admin site.

When went through solutions, I saw that, all contents should be stored separately in different tables/fields for different languages. Really, I surprised that, I can't find a way for converting text to different languages automatically using webs server's support Apache or IIS..

Hi experts, really, is there any way? Do anyone know about this? Please help me for finding a solution and suggest me the best method to implement this.

    many thanks,
    Nissar

If you've worked with osCommerce, you might have seen the different textareas to fill up the descriptions of products in different languages. AFAIK, there is no accurate tool to translate from one language to another. (though I know some transliteration tools)

    Unhappy

Do you think that all multilingual websites are doing with the same idea?
Please see booking.com website. Is it an easy process to convert and enter all text in 17 different languages?

Or is there any solution for different languages? Or is there any web service (or just like any one) to make this dynamic?

Please help me to study this..
    best regards

I doubt that there is a web service that does this. Most sites seem to store the words and phrases for each language in a database, or in flat files.

You can use Google to translate pages on the fly but like any automatic service it isn't as accurate as manual/professional translation.

here is an example of this page translated to dutch from Google directly:
