    Few options there.
    Execution time can be manipulated on a PHP_INI_ALL directive, so you can control it directly from a script. Best to do would be to cron tab partials and pull out the data in chunks - 300GB is a lot of data, and unless you can physically mirror it, your server may not be too pleased if you transfer all that information.
    If you have access through a shell or remote connection to the server, you can also perform a dump directly from a command line console. Perl can also help you transfer directly to a remote computer, if you have sufficient privileges on the server to run socket programs.

    I'd go with the partials through cron jobs, 20GB at a time with appropriate logging could generate a script to do this for you over the course of a day.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');
    Been gone for a few months, and haven't programmed in that long of a time. Meh, I'll wing it ;)
