    Need help for something simple...

I am new a here and to webdesign so I want to say sorry for the stupid question I'm about to ask. I am using dreamweaver to make a site with the file saved as .php, when I try to preview a page I get the error "To preview pages containing server-side code, you need a testing server.Would you like to specify one now?" How do I do specify one so I can preview what I have done?

    Thanks

Do you have a web server with php installed on your development computer?
If you are learning PHP, developing PHP code, or debugging PHP code, do yourself a favor and check your web server log for errors and/or turn on full PHP error reporting in php.ini or in a .htaccess file to get PHP to help you.
