    Post to Log help

    I think I'm slowly becoming addicted to learning and playing with php. Anyway, I'm trying to post an entry into a log, and it works and doesn't work at the same time.

    Basically, within a switch statement, I have some basic code that will post to a log. But it is only posting the $gamelog variable once, when I need it to post both entries, one after another.

    I'm not sure if I need to include any other to possibly assist, and once again, thanks for everyone's help in helping me learn.

    PHP Code:
    case 'trading'$next_state 'placing';

    //timestamp_player();

    include ('func_calculate_log.php');

    $gamelog $country_log;

    $gamelog $continent_log;
        break;
    EDIT. Think I just got found my error. Will report back if need help.

    But thanks again for your patience and help.

    PHP Code:
        $gamelog $country_log;

    $gamelog .= $continent_log
    Notice the period before the equals. This adds to the variable
