Download WAMP. it comes with Apache2, PHP, MySql, PhpMyAdmin, and SQLite configured and ready for use straight away.

PHP website: do a google search and you should find loads of open source projects...such as WordPress, Joomla etc.

    Good luck.

The all in one installer packages like WAMP are as simple as it gets.

If there is a specific step during the installation that you don't understand or a specific error, the only way anyone on a forum can help is if you describe what you are doing and post a specific question, or post an actual error message.
If you are learning PHP, developing PHP code, or debugging PHP code, do yourself a favor and check your web server log for errors and/or turn on full PHP error reporting in php.ini or in a .htaccess file to get PHP to help you.

Yeah. WAMP, XAMMP, LAMP and such are as simple as it can be. Better installing and configuring softwares by yourself. I do not prefer for those packages, so unnecessary but good for beginners though.
