    linux shortcut

    fedora, instaled netbeans
    on properties of executable file it says
    shell sctipt application/x-shell script

    doble cllick runs net beans

    tryed everything to put shortcut to netbeans on gnome desktop, no success

    how to do it ?

    Use the command "ln" to create a link to the file. You'll need to know the path to your Desktop (usually /home/username/Desktop) and the path to the file.

    ok,

    right click on desktop, create launcher, enter path and voila.
