what best language for doing an email ?
i am using HTML for my pages ..
but in contact page .. i used to use PHP code to send an email ..
but the server i am using this time doesnt support PHP ..
what an alternate language i can use for email code ???
i know you will answer me so .. thanks alot ..

You can send email using any server side languge available. Without PHP, you'll be using perl, ASP/ASP.NET if you're on IIS, ruby/ROR, coldfusion, python, whatever. Best I know each of these languages have a net or smtp library that you can use.
On the other hand, I haven't come across a webhost in forever that doesn't support PHP, so I have my doubts if you have any of these languages available for use.
