Dynamic Web Template
I am currently working on a project for a friend that involves a premade layout. Unfortunately, the layout is coded on frontpage using dynamic web template option, something I have never used before.
What I need done is VERY simple, and that is add new links to the navigation. Now I've stared at the thing long enough to somewhat understand it. There is a main page that serves as a 'template' (has the banner, nav, and a spot for the content) and it is a .dwt file. Then the pages are separate .html files. However, whenever I add a link, or make any change in the original .dwt file (based on what i've read from the internet) there should be an option to automatically update the other pages as well, but I don't have that option. I also tried to go to Format>Dynamic Web Template>Attatch Dynamic Web Template but I don't have that option either.
All the pages are already premade, as well as the .dwt file, but I can't edit anything (other then the actual content), I can't add links, change the banner or anything. I've downloaded my files from the server, so they are the 'original' ones.
This is all very foreign to me, ANY advice or help would be appreciated !
