    Basic MySQL Website Question

I'm trying to learn to the basics and want to make a test website that has a login and register page, connected to a user database so you can have your own login credentials, then when you "login" it shows your account profile and brings up things specific to your account. How could you do this? Can someone provide a basic explanation of how you could do this?

And on the side, could you link an upload element to the website and upload files that will be connected to your account so when you login you can see these files on your account.

@urmomhero, You are just cluttering up the site with posts like this. If you need to watch this thread for the answer go to your "UserCP" find it at top of this page on left. Then click "Edit Your Details" under "Your Profile" in the left menu. go down to second box, Default Thread Subscription Mode and in the dropdown set Instant Email notification and you'll get an email every time someone responds to this thread.

And you and every one that reads this please set your location so we (meaning me) knows if English is your second language or if you where just pushed through our high school system.

@cpuxtech, Many plug ins and tutorials on the web for this. Google is your friend.

I can give you a complete answer to this. All written in ASP code.

Since you would be crazy to use ASP when it is now so obsolete, it would help a *LOT* if you would bother to tell us what server side language/system you intend to use and also tell us your level of expertise in that language/system.
