Arrow Dynamic ext. image load as in example

    Hi,

I am trying to built a product page for a company and I want the page to have thumbnails. It must load bigger images, explanations and related links for related thumbnail only when thumbnail clicked. As done at www.chapter3.net (choose vertical)

I tried to do it with CSS but could not. Then I found this,
    http://www.codingforums.com/showthre...ght=image+load

but I am not sure if it loads the image only when clicked. Because while I was checking the code at dreamweaver, all images were shown on the page and it seemed that the page loads everything at one shot not on call.

    Appreciate for any help.

    Hi Vic,

There will be only one high res. image and small thumbnails on the page and nothing else will be loaded unless a user click one of thumbnails.

When a user clicks a thumbnail, a high res. image will be loaded from a specific folder with some information regarding size, color, etc. The information will include some links for other shapes of the same product.

I hope it is clear this time, if not, let me know.

    Thanks for the help.

Could all be done on on page but would require large arrays to hold the required data for image/test swap and generating elements and complex code.

An <IFRAME> may be a better solution. This would require a number of pages to load as required into the IFRAME, but there can be interation between the parent and IFRAME page if required.

Thanks Vic. I thought I could find an easier way but it is getting complicated and I think I am better off with a pop up considering deadline is tomorrow.

    Thanks again.
