I'm in desperate need of help, and I can't stress this enough. I'm in a java class in school and we happen to have a teacher that doesn't explain us anything. I have a huge assignment that is due on Monday and it's worth 30% of my final grade. If I don't pass this assignment, I dont get the course, and If I don't get the course, I don't graduate..so you see the issue im facing.

I can do the HTML part of this assignment easily, it's all the javascript& calculations that I'm having a huge issue on. If anybody at all could help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it.

The due date for this assignment is Monday, May 15th, so you can see why I'm freaking out.

    Web site design Assignment

You are hired to create a website for a company that is selling a new and exciting beverage. This web site is the main business approach for this company.

Design the website so that it not only advertises the beverage but it is also taking orders and keeping track of the orders from customers. That is a customer enters their name, address, phone number, and the number of cases of the beverage to be purchased.

The website will generate an account number and assign an invoice number to the customer. It will also add the date of the order and calculate the cost to the customer.

The cost to the customers is $8.50 a case of 12 cans.

The website will display the information entered by the customer along with the total cost of the beverage ordered including 15% tax and a $10.00 delivery fee.

The website will display all of this and store this information in a file, that can be printed at a later date.

The website will also have the ability to display a monthly summary of sales, which includes the appropriate information. I.e. Total cases sold, breakdown of cost to customers (total money charged, taxes, etc.), in a format that can be printed easily.

You can work in groups of 2 or 3 to develop your ideas, however each student will create their own web site.

Also include at least 1 image, logo of the company, and use of frames, colour, and any other structures that would enhance the web site.

You must code the website, you cannot use a software package to design it.
Make sure you use proper structure and comments in your code.

Your web site should run in IE and NETSCAPE
Your hand in will include a title page, a description of the assignment, a site map, and printed pages of the site, a sample execution of customer data, monthly summary.

Sorry, the rules of the forum do not permit us to do student's assignments for them.

Has it not occured to you that graduation is based on your work and understanding of the subject, and not someone else's? If you cannot pass the exam then you do not deserve to graduate and receive a certificate which is not an honest assessment of your abilities. Simple as that.

Sounds like he has not bothered to explain that Java and JavaScript are not at all the same language.

At least try to do something, show us that you understand the language, show us some code of yours and if you stuck somewhere, maybe we well be able to help you further.
