HTML SELECT hides DHTML dropdown menu

    Hi,

I have DHTML dropdown menus that work very well, except when the menus drops down "over" a html SELECT element. Then the select item is displayed in front of the drop down menus and hides part of the menus. All other normal html elements seem to work fine - I also get the dropdown menu in the front.

Any ideas why this goes wrong with a select element?

    Thanks.

selects always have the highest z-index which puts them in top of everything else. what you can do is put them into other divs and then hide those divs whenever the menu is displayed.
    *keep it simple (TM)
