Open Cube/Quick Menu Plus menu malfunction

Hi, our webmaster uses Open Cube/Quick Menu Plus to create a menu on our company's intranet. One of our users is running Windows 98SEA, IE 6.28. When the mouse is moved over the menu, the links aren't active, and the submenus don't come up. Each menu item becomes highlighted when it's rolled over, but stays that way.

I'm thinking it's not the OS, as 40% of our users are running 98SE and the menu works fine.

    Here's what I've tried:
    Set all security defaults back
Set all internet options back to default
Reset Java settings back to default
    Reinstalled Internet Explorer
    Updated Flash Player
    Updated DirectX
    Updated video driver

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Your help is much appreciated!!

OpenCube is a commercial product - have you tried asking them for support?

Without seeing the code it's impossible to say what the problem is. But the first thing I'd check is are you using the latest version of the script, or does their documentation have anything to say.

Actually, we haven't received a response back from Open Cube yet... Basically, I'm on the PC side, and I'm left to troubleshooting this on my own, looking for anything I can do on the PC itself. This is the only PC out of over 350 PCs that is experiencing this problem.

BTW, thanks much for your help, I appreciate it. I did check their site, and I'm not finding any support options other than emailing directly (which we've had no help from). Is there anything else you can think of that I should check?

What is the system information? (i.e. Processor, Ram)

Are there any applications running on this system that are memory intensive?

What are the major differences between this system and the other 40% of Win98SE systems that run it fine???

These are the first questions I would look to for possible answers.

This computer runs Zenworks in the background and the user runs Client Access Express in addition to IE. In addition to, the user runs Acrobat Reader 6 to open PDF docs. There are no clear differences the programs that were installed on the other PCs. We have a checklist that we go over on all of these PCs when they are set up, soo...That's why I am posting and why I'm frustrated...I don't see any logical reason as to why this menu doesn't work in IE on this particular computer when the exact same versions of the programs are installed on this PC as the others.

I was hoping someone here would have some experience with open cube that might help in the troubleshooting. Thanks!

    (System info is 128RAM PPro)

AND...Thanks for moving the post. I wasn't sure if I had put it in the appropriate forum in the first place
