    Send a keystroke with Java?

I need a script to go to the "top", but it is within a scroll window.
    (See examle on http://www.mardispage.com/scroll.html )

An ANCHOR does not work in this case. Hitting the HOME keyboard key DOES, so I am therefore looking for a java solution that sends the ascii equivelant to the HOME keystroke. (a href to text, image, form button, whatever...)
    Any ideas???

If you don't need a NS4 solution, try this

    PHP Code:
    <a href="#" onclick="document.getElementById('scroll3').scrollTop=0;return false"><img SRC="images/top.gif" WIDTH="23" HEIGHT="23" BORDER="0"></a

I've noticed that DWM used NS4 <layer> and <ylayer> but I hope that he didn't really need a ns4 solution

Well, there are some iPod's which, for the limited memory reasons, have installed NS4...

they're probably running some kinda LInux on them in that case. however, i'd have thought FF would have a smaller memory footprint than that old dog. of course, how many people in the real world would this affect. rather than code for such a infinitesemal level of NS4 support, it would be better to forward code for PDAs, Blackberries, etc, and new fangled browsers like the forthcoming Minimo browser.

nonetheless NS4 on an iPod is rather intriguing, to say the least LOL

well... I have just hear about it here and there... some of my forums mates asked for NS4 included cross-browser solution, as they say their clients use iPods with NS4 installed, and things like that... I have never saw such of... I guess they are quite a few
