    window popup close window.

    I probably should have figured out a better statement for the subject, but anyway....

    I have had this script in the past and I don't where it is and can't find it here again...

    I want to have a text link that will open another window onclick, but also close the window that had the text link on it.

    Preferably opening the new window in full view.

    Thanks,

    function doLink(nUrl) {
    var w = screen.width
    var h = screen.height;
    var features = 'top=0, left=0, width='+w+', height='+h+', scrollbars, location, status, resizable, menubar, toolbar';
    window.open(nUrl,'',features);
    top.close();
    }

    <a href="javascript:doLink('page.htm');">Click here</a>

    Unhappy Little Problem Here...

    Ok, the script works perfect in IE. But it has a slight problem in NS. The window that appears is not the same size as the one in the IE browser. I have left the "width='+w+', height='+h+'" as shown with ni number specified. As well as I have specified a number with the same results. It gives me a fairly small size window. I have had the script in the head and in the body to test them seperately. Still same problem.

    Thanks,
    ---roystreet
