    Help with shrinking browser

Forgive me - I'm a designer, not a programmer. I'm hoping someone can help me accomplish the following:

I need one click on a graphic to -

    1. Shrink the browser window (it contains a frameset) so that a defined interior window size is visible.

    2. Remove browser toolbars.

This is for an audio streaming service that includes a player console in the top frame - when a "minimize" button is clicked, the entire frameset needs to shrink up to the top left, leaving only the player console visible (approx 380 x 56 px) and all browser features (toolbars) turned off.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

You can't modify window chrome without opening a new window. You can shrink it down to a specified size, with resizeTo('width', 'height'); (with numbers, of course), but if you want to modify the window chrome (i.e., status bar, location, scrollbars, ect.) you have to open a new window.
