    Embedded VLC video not returning from full screen

    I have a video feed which I'm displaying within a DIV inside a web page using x-vlc-plugin. The video is working great and I'm also able to toggle it into full screen mode so it takes over the entire page.

    The issue I am having however is when I attempt to return it back to normal. The video never returns to be located just within the DIV and instead I just end up with a black screen with the video still playing (audio) in the background. If I toggle it again to full screen mode the video comes back fine.

    My code is very straightforward. Here I am embedding the video:

    Code:
    $('#'+"vlc_video").html('<embed type="application/x-vlc-plugin" id="vlc_video" width="545" height="370" name="video" autoplay="yes" loop="yes" hidden="no" toolbar="false" allowfullscreen="true" target="'video_feed'" />');
    And I toggle it back and forth to full screen using vlc.video.fullscreen = true|false

    I think I just may be missing a step here that I need to perform in order to get the page to render properly upon return. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The page is being rendered under Firefox.

    Thanks!

    Try it in a different browser. May be a Firefox failing.

    Unfortunately I get the exact same thing when using Chrome. It's quite strange.
