Title attribute problem, more descriptive this time round

i would i go about changing the title attribue so that when someone has their mouse cursor over text it will display like a description, BUT it changes the colors for the users' that are at my page...

in other words, when a person moves their mouse cursor over something it displays default colors [ tan/yellowish background with black text ] instead i want to change the colors to something else, like [ green background and white text ] or something of that sort.

i know there's a javascript out there thats readable...its just the matter of finding it LOL, if you're still stuck about what i am talkin about here's an example:

    http://www.klproductions.com/kltooltipsdemo.html

i would use this, but i can't understand the code...LOL

    If I'm not mistaken, that's Vladdy's code - and he's a member here.

"Using" and "understanding" are two different, completely independent things. I'm confused, do you need something working or you want to learn how to reinvent the wheel??? I believe I have enough instructions on the demo page (plus you can view source) to make usage rather simple. I will go on a limb here and claim that my code is the easiest to use among all the tooltip scripts.
For the latter see www.vladdy.net/webdesign/tooltips.html for an old version.

actually, i want both LOL. i wanna know how it works and put it into action, i dont wanna put something up without knowing how it works, then after i figure out how it works i wanna modify it or shorten the code so it takes less space and improve it if needed

I already removed as many spaces as possible
    and improve it if needed
Best wishes on that endeavor I'm not saying that my code can not be improved but the latest version is the result of year+ worth of polishing code and incorporating features based on reviews from a number of users, it will take you some time to make it better.

Have you fixed the tooltips' limitation?

If you want to know how it works try finding something you don't understand in the code and then ask what it's doing. This is the right place to ask.
Check out the Forum Search. It's the short path to getting great results from this forum.

Fixing this annoyance will be part of the next version which will include comprehensive positioning options.
