Text from one text box to another on a different page

How do I make it so that typing into a text box and hitting a button will take me to a different page and populate a text box on that page with the text from the previous page?

Well, there are several ways to do that.

You could store the value into a temporary cookie on the first page and read it from there on the second.

You could pass it in the querystring of the url when you invoke the second page.

If you create the second page as a popup window from the first, you can communicate it directly.

    So... What do you want?
