JavaScript Help [in new with this]

    Hiya!,
First post here, looks like a nice forum I am a newbie to JavaScript but really wanna get deep with it. I was wondering if someone here could give me some direction...I tried using a bunch of scripts on my web pages like login with user name and psswrd...well sure thats super easy [copy the script right into notepad] but where can i get info on how to make that work correctly...setting up accounts, and getting it so it actually works. Maybe there are some really good tutorials out there? Any Direction would be greatly appricated

You'll be wanting some JavaScript tutorials then - like at webmonkey.com, w3schools.com and pageresource.com

If it's problems with a specific script, post up more details and we'll argue about it for a bit then suggest 3 different ways to do it

Script to work...now sure its easy to copy and paste into notepad, but what do i do to support that script, like create user names etc...how does it know if your a correct user, bad, invaild password etc.

That script handles exactly one user and password, it provides no option for additional users and just like every other such script it's easily bypassed by anyone. Javascript isn't an access control mechanism and doesn't provide access to any such mechanism. For access control you need to look at the server software.
