issues with AJAX from w3schools
I'm currently using the simple AJAX code from the w3 website, and I'm wondering if there's any difference between using that and actually navigating to external pages querying a mysql database with php?
are there any differences in speed, continuity, or reliability? even when more than 50 or so users are making requests at the same time?
I'm assuming not, as the way I read it, it's virtually the same thing, but I wanted to see what the experts here have to say. thanks for any input!
sorry, I can't figure out how to delete this. I figure it should be in ajax and design...
