    iframe refresh affecting dynamcic menu...help pls!

    Hi All,

    Im helping my friend create a financial website which contains a "price applet" in an iframe that refreshes every 5 seconds.
    Unfortunately, it is jamming the dynamic menu.
    The code for the iframe is:
    -------------------------------------------------
    <iframe
    src="http://www.IFXmarkets.com/Remote/DisplayCustom.asp?id=322&cellspacing=1&MarketHeading=Rate"
    width="180" height="80"
    marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"
    scrolling="no" noresize frameborder="0">
    </iframe>
    ----------------------------------------------------

    and the URL is http://www.fxonlinejapan.com/demo.

    If anyone knows code to fix this problem it would really be appreciated. FYI the applet only works on that domain.

    regards,

    TC

    It seems to work fine for me. I'm using Mozilla 1.3b.

    i had same prob on my site, and i just wrote into the head a script to force refresh / reload on all iframes on my page

    they would stutter in IE and NS

    the reload was just in the onload of the page inside the iframe and set to 500 (millisec)

    it also worked on the reload of the _parent page except it took longer (because the whole _parent page had to load) to refresh

    i used document.getElementById(iframeId).src = javascript:reload() and set this using setTimeout function

    regards,
