    anyone know of a script for...

    A horizantal menu that on mouseover it scrolls down? They are very common, but I cant seem to find a good script for one. I have spent hours searching through dynamic drive, but there scripts dont have enough customization.

    Some simple things that I want:

    -able to choose all background/text colors.
    -able to have as many 'catagories' with as many 'sub catagories' as I want

    Thats basically it.

    http://www.ufic.ufl.edu/ipd/TGSC/problem.html

    That site has a good example of what im looking for (their source doesn't reveal anything)

    Thanks in advance

    For the coolest, niftiest menu script I've ever seen that uses CSS for customization of nearly everything about the script check out http://www.youngpup.net, click on "components" and choose ypSlideOutMenu. All the documentation is there, and the menu is as flexible as you are.

    To see a real-world instance of this being used, check out http://www.quark.com.

    Ok, this is the code it showed:

    <script language="javascript" src="ypSlideOutMenus.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript">
    new ypSlideOutMenu("menu1", "down", 100, 50, 75, 200)
    new ypSlideOutMenu("menu2", "down", 150, 50, 75, 200)
    </script>

    <div id="myMenu1Container">
    <div id="myMenu1Content">you put whatever html in here!</div>
    </div>
    <div id="myMenu2Container">
    <div id="myMenu2Content">you put whatever html in here!</div>
    </div>

    I put that on my page, nothing appears. Between what tags do i out it? I also downloaded 'download ypslideoutmenus' but there isnt a documentation on it.

    For a simplescroll menu i saw this:

    Include the javascript library in the head of the document, instance the object, and .load( ) the object after page load.

    what is 'instance the object' and '.load()'? I remember seeing .load before, in the body tag i think.

    Thanks again.

    Did you copy the ypSlideOutMenus.js scripts, too?

    *sigh*

    Yes, still having problems.

    I have the script above, but between what tags do i put it?

    And I have:

    <script language="javascript" src="ypSlideOutMenus.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript">
    new ypSlideOutMenu("menu1", "down", 100, 50, 75, 200)
    new ypSlideOutMenu("menu2", "down", 150, 50, 75, 200)
    </script>

    <div id="myMenu1Container">
    <div id="myMenu1Content">you put whatever html in here!</div>
    </div>
    <div id="myMenu2Container">
    <div id="myMenu2Content">you put whatever html in here!</div>
    </div>

    But where do i put that?
