    Cookies

I have almost completed a new web page and would like to know if it is possible to use 'cookies' so that i will be able to find out who is visiting my webpage and how often they visit even though there is no need to log in when visiting the web page. If this is possible could someone direct me to an easy to understand cookie tutorial. Big thanks

You are thinking of HTTP cookies which are used by web servers to differentiate users and to maintain data related to the user during navigation, possibly across multiple visits. These can only be set/read using a server-side language such as PHP.

Be aware that many browsers and anti-spyware programs block tracking cookies.
