    Wait for Image to load

Hi, pretty much I want to do what this guy did here: http://jqueryfordesigners.com/demo/image-load-demo.php

but I'm currently using prototype windows, and it conflicts with jquery. Is there an alternate way to do this or maybe a way to make them work together?

I think the problem is the prototype windows has a variable called "window" and so does jquery, but I wasn't able to get them working together.

I don't care about the fade effect just being able to show the animated gif while the image loads.

window is not a suitable name for a variable.

If there are two (global) variables with the same name then the second will over-write the first.

Solution - rename one or both of them.
