    Cool A little help

    Hi,

    I have the following form:

    My form show me only: http://localhost/IISSamples/default/...btest.asp?res=

    This is my form:

    <form action=vbtest.asp?test method="post">
    <P><LABEL ACCESSKEY=U>User name: <INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT NAME=test SIZE=8 MAXLENGTH=8></LABEL>
    <input type="text" name="test" ><BR></P>



    Please how I do to obtain the following:

    http://localhost/IISSamples/default/...asp?res=Number

    Number: an number put on by the user on the form.

    Use GET instead of post

    Of course it did. Your submit button has the same name as the input button. Try this
    Code:
    <form action="vbtest.asp" method="get">
    <p><label accesskey="u" for="test">Username: <input type="text" name="test" id="test" size="8" maxlength="8"/></label><br /><input type="submit" value="Submit" /></p>
    </form>
    TBH I think you should get better at HTML before you try doing advanced server side stuff.
