expand/collapsed Divs as Drop down menus

I really hope this comes across as I envision it so here it goes -

I am trying to develop a div with a drop down menu in it. As the enduser selects the third or final option, the div expands to show more choices/text/etc related to the option selected from the drop down menu..

Is this possible? Any examples would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Noel

Are you talking about something like this?

    Here's the explanation.

    Thanks for the example

VIPStephen but I probably didn't explain myself clearly enough...what I want is something similar to the image example I have uploaded for you all to see..

I really hope this helps explain my dilemma..

    thanks again!

Because you're expecting the behavior of the web site to change when you click on an element, you'll need Javascript. HTML is just a markup language, CSS is just for style. I'll move this to the JS forum for you.

Don't be sorry… that's what the forum is for, to teach us this kind of stuff.
