    How to solve errors when there is $ inside jQuery?

    I have seen Flexslider from WOO with many errors when validated like:
    SyntaxError: function statement requires a name
    flexslider-min.js
    uniqueID: function($clone) {
    I have to use jQuery and not $
    <script type="text/javascript">
    jQuery(function(){
    SyntaxHighlighter.all();
    });

    jQuery(window).load(function(){
    jQuery('.flexslider').flexslider({
    animation: "slide",
    start: function(slider){
    jQuery('body').removeClass('loading');
    }
    });
    });
    </script>

    It is an error like:
    ReferenceError: SyntaxHighlighter is not defined

    the $/jQuery conflict doesn't affect you or the jq code: inside the function $ means jQuery.

    you are missing the syntax highlighter .js file being loaded when you call your other code.
