[Android] Better on Linux or Windows?

I'm learning Android programming at the moment and I'm curious if any OS has any advantages over the other. The OS's I have and would develop in are either Ubuntu 12.04 (or close to that) or Windows 7 Ultimate.

I'm currently on Windows and haven't really had any issues except the AVD devices are really slow, but that could just be down to my Laptop not being the best.

Does it just boil down to personal preference or are there some differences between the OS's?

I have used both Windows 7 and Ubuntu for Android development. In my experience, as long as you use Eclipse with the ADT, the experience is quite seamless on both platforms.
