    CSS Background Help

    I am trying to place an image on my background using CSS and using the following properties, but all that is showing up is the background color. If I remove the bottom 3, the image then appears. How do I use the bottom 3 attributes correctly?

    Code:
    body {
      background-image: url(etback.jpg);
      background:#484033;
      background-attachment: fixed;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: bottom left;
      }

    Code:
    background: #484033 url(etback.jpg) no-repeat fixed bottom left;

    Your problem wasn't that you did something wrong with the last three properties but with the one before those. If you are going the way like in your first post it must read:
    Code:
    body {
      background-image: url(etback.jpg);
      background-color:#484033;
      background-attachment: fixed;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: bottom left;
      }
    The background property (without additional specification) is an abbreviation for all properties together, that's why the method in your second post is working.
