    Exclamation CSS nooob

ok, this is my first post here, so hi everyone.

i need some help with my portfolio site and i cant get what i want and have very little knowledge of CSS

i cant explain much without actually showing you, so i have an image of what i want my site to look like.

    http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Untitled-1.png

if you look at the image, it shows a red box and a blue box

the red box is an image made in photoshop and will hav links that will open the next page like a normal site

all the content appears in the blue box

now, heres what else i require

i want to be able to change the site scheme like on www.spoono.com with just a click or a refresh.

that means the background image, the navbar image and the text and colours need to change when a user selects a scheme

could someone please help me, becuase i am totally lost in this and have no idea how to do it

    thanks for your time

    On the 2 column layout:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=css+2...en-US:official

and it looks like you might be going for a vertical and horizontal centered site layout:

On the style switcher you can lok at this article:

    http://www.alistapart.com/articles/bodyswitchers/

there are different ways to achieve the 2-columns and different ways to center in CSS. try playing with some of those and see if you get anywhere.
Stop making things so hard on yourself.
